Lyndi Schrecengost

FLUENT principal Lyndi Schrecengost has written a wide range of communications for both commercial and nonprofit clients. Her areas of focus include health & wellness, education, and advocacy. Lyndi has written on a diversity of health topics, including cognitive decline, anti-aging, and digestive and dermatological health. She has co-written or ghostwritten several trade books, including The Body Ecology Guide to Growing Younger, with Donna Gates and The Genius of Flexibility: The Smart Way to Stretch and Strengthen Your Body, with Bob Cooley. She enjoys collaborating with clients to establish a compelling brand identity and has executed and project managed multi-component communications and fundraising campaigns. Lyndi is also an experienced interviewer and researcher. She is comfortable conducting independent scholarly research that is both well-substantiated and thoughtful. And finally, Lyndi has extensive experience in fundraising, having managed annual campaigns and raised more than a $million in grant money. In addition to more than 25 years of writing experience, Lyndi has a B.A. in Communication Arts, an M.A. in Literature, and professional certification in book publishing from the University of Denver’s Publishing Institute. Lyndi has been recognized at the academic and post academic levels with several awards and scholarships. She was the recipient of American University’s Distinguished Scholar Award, The Thelma Baltz Morrow Scholarship Award for English Grammar and Composition at Grove City College, The William C. Heilman and Paul Buchanan prizes in English Studies at The Mercersburg Academy, and a Certificate of Merit from the Society of Illustrators 34th Annual National Exhibition, for Art Direction. She has also been distinguished with an International Association of Business Communicators’ Silver Inkwell Award in the area of marketing & sales copywriting.
